Should you buy the iPhone 7 or wait for iPhone 8?

So, the iPhone 7 is out and people are running crazy to get hold of it. And if you’re wondering if you should buy the iPhone 7, then you’re in luck,

iPhone 8 is already around the corner. Well, a year from now that is. That’s right. Rumors of iPhone 8 is already out and experts are saying that you should wait for the 8 and skip the 7. Why? Read on…

iphone8-iphone-7Rumors are that in 2017, Apple will launch its 10th anniversary phone, the iPhone 8. And they want to make it special. Really special. How? Well, first the make and body. Rumors (Source 1, Source 2) say that iPhone 8 will be a complete overhaul of it’s current form factor. It will be ergonomic, and there will be curves. Yes, you read that right. Curves.

Wait, what? Curves. The iPhone 7, 6, 5, and 4 are all the typical rectangular box and now all of a sudden curve? Doesn’t sound very convincing but looks like that’s what Apple is planning. This thread at Quora also says that the lightning port will look more like the Mag-Safe system used on the MacBook Pro devices [10] and mostly use inductive charging. Of course there will be no 3.5mm audio jack.

BGR says that Apple will copy Samsung for a change and will feature an edge to edge display in the iPhone 8. The report also says that the iPhone 8 will have iris scanners (eye scanners) just like how the Surface Pro has face recognition.

So, with all those details, what do you think? Isn’t it a better idea to wait for iPhone 8 than buy the iPhone 7?

Yup, I thought so too. 😉
