I’m sure all of you have heard about the recent uproar over Facebook’s psychology experiment they ran on certain users.
Well, Facebook might spy on you more and more, as that’s what they do with their data. Data scientists at Facebook probably are constantly looking at opportunities to get into your mind and play some mind games. Well, it’s not all evil you see, it’s all in the social game.
But, if you’d like to opt out and stop Facebook from spying on you and snooping on all your personal data, here’s a simple hack.
AdBlock, a popular advertisement blocking addon has announced that it can block Facebook from spying on your personal data.
According to their official blog,
If you do not want Facebook peering into your browsing habits, just enable the social media tracking blocker in Adblock Plus. To do so, click the link that says “open this dialogue,” whereupon you will see the following screen. Now just click the Add button to apply the preloaded filter list.
Looks like a neat way to fix Facebook privacy issues!
