India has become a great car manufacturing hub in the past few years (especially Chennai). This news is exciting for all the car lovers in India. BMW has launched new BMW X3 Xdrive 28i and the new BMW X5 Xdrive 35i in India on Wednesday. With this launch, BMW is available in petrol variants as well.
The good news is that the two new variants of BMW will be manufactured in the local plant in Chennai. And they will be available in both petrol and diesel variants.
BMWx3 and X5 have amazing power delivery and excellent responsiveness which actually generates a dynamic proposition on the roads. This is going to be pleasure ride for the BMW lovers.
The “Xline” design scheme under which the brand new models are rolled out is predominantly known for its practicality and modern styling.
New BMW X5, X3 Petrol Variants Price in India
I know, I know, all of you must be eager to know the price for this model. The ex-showroom prices (New Delhi) are Rs.54.90 Lakhs for the BMW X3 and Rs.73.50 Lakhs for BMW X5.
X3 series is available in Alpine white (non-metallic) and in the following metallic paint works – Black Sapphire, Deep blue and Melbourne red. The interiors are gorgeously designed using leather Nevada beige, Saddle brown, Black leather and Nevada mocha.
The X5 series is available in Alpine White (non-metallic) and in the following metallic paint works: black sapphire, imperial blue, and sparkling brown. The interiors are leather ‘Dakota’ Canberra beige, Canberra beige, leather ‘Dakota’ ivory white ; black, leather ‘Dakota’ mocha; black and leather ‘Dakota’ terra and black.
The engine power is truly amazing in both the series. The 2 liter four cylinder petrol engine of the new BMW X3 can produce an output of 180KW/245hp and a maximum torque of 350Nm at 1,250-4,800 rpm. The car accelerates from 0-100 km/hr in just 6 seconds. Whereas the BMW X5 series produces an output of 225KW/306hp and has a maximum torque of 400Nm at 1,200-5,000rpm. The car can accelerate from 0-100 km/hr in just 6 seconds. This is truly the WOW factor in these versions.
I personally love the X5 series and hopefully, we’ll see more BMWs on the Indian roads.
