Yogurt is a healthy dairy product, which is manufactured by bacterial fermentation of milk, when lactose of milk is turned into lactic acid and this in turn acts on the protein of milk, giving it the characteristic sour feature. Yogurt is a favorite dessert of people living in any part of the world, and is also used in the recipe of many popular dishes and beverages.

Yogurt is not only yummy for taste buds, but it has many health benefits as well:

Used for reducing body weight
Yogurt is popularly used for reducing the extra weight of the body, as it has no calorie value at all. Thus, yogurt can replace the usual snack of overweight people, who want to flatten their belly by losing excess fat.

Yogurt contains some beneficial bacteria, also called probiotics, which help in digestion of food in digestive tracts and drive out the harmful micro-organisms in the digestive system of the body.

Yogurt contains beneficial vitamins, like Vitamin B2 or Riboflavin, Vitamin B12 and Vitamin B5 or Pantothenic acid.
